Individuals and groups are invited to experience the rewards of volunteering at the Meadows.

The St. John's Meadows volunteer program embraces residents, families, and staff. The program invites volunteers to be part of a unique community experience by encouraging creativity and offering a variety of leadership opportunities. Each volunteer comes to us with different interests, talents, and abilities. Depending on your preferences, the Meadows can offer you a variety of choices for a challenging, enjoyable, and rewarding volunteer experience.

The rewards of volunteering at the Meadows are unique as your reasons for wanting to volunteer. We offer career exploration, opportunities to learn new skills, and social involvement. Volunteers are invited to use the amenities of the Meadows, including our libraries, fitness room, cafe, gift shop, and swimming pool. Our resident volunteers enjoy a rewarding lifestyle by engaging their minds, bodies, and souls.

We invite individuals and groups to exercise their talents and skills by participating in some of our established programs. We also encourage local secondary schools and universities to get involved in a special event or create a unique project working with our seniors.

To make sure you feel comfortable and prepared to assist in activities and programs, we are happy to provide the level of training and orientation you need. The Volunteer Coordinator and Meadows volunteers welcome your ideas and suggestions.
